Bio-remodelling /
Profhilo is a new category of injectables known as 'bio-remodelling fillers', this type of filler consists of pure hyaluronic acid which stimulates stem cells and treats fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, loss of elasticity, and dullness. It is also a biostimulant so once it naturally breaks down and is absorbed into the skin, it also stimulates collagen and elastin production in the skin.
How long does it last?
Results usually last 6 months after your bio-remodelling injection treatment. Although some patients will be happy with their results after just one treatment, for best results we recommend having 2-3 treatments one month apart.
What can I expect after treatment
The results are immediate! You will notice that your skin is brighter, smoother and healthier after just one round of injections. As time goes on and in particular after your second treatment, these effects are further enhanced as the hyaluronic acid has hydrated the skin tissue and activated collagen production. Skin will begin to look more radiant, healthy, slightly plumper looking. Results are subtle and most people feel particularly happy that that the results are natural.
What should I do pre-treatment?
+ Avoid taking aspirin, NSAIDS, anticoagulant drugs and Gingko Biloba supplements
+ Do not wax, bleach, use depilatory creams (Nair)
+ Avoid any chemical peels, facials, laser, and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks prior to treatment
of the same area.
+ Avoid sun bathing, and extremes of heat or cold for 14 days post treatment.
What should I do post-treatment
• Vigurous physical activity
• Cosmetic procedures for the first two days after the treatment.
• Sauna, steam bath, icy temperatures or UV radiation by the sun or a solarium for two weeks after the treatment.
• Dental procedures for two weeks after the treatment.
• Filler injections in the same area, microdermabrasion, chemical peel, IPL two weeks after the treatment.
Wrinkle Reduction
As we age our body produces less collagen and elastin which contributes to the formation of wrinkles, lines and creases on our face.
Anti-wrinkle treatments work by injecting a small amount of toxin into the muscle which prevents and reduces muscle movement that leads to fine lines and wrinkles. The less movement that is present, the less contribution to future lines and wrinkles.
When can I see results?
It can take up to 14 days to see the full effects of treatment, however the toxin will bind to the muscle 24-48 hrs after treatment.
As all clients are unique and anti wrinkle treatments are not a one size fits all approach, it may take up to 2 appointments to meet client expectations. Please wait 2 weeks for a follow up consultation.

Volume Replacement and Lip Volumisation
As we age, our natural production of hyaluronic acid slowly declines, causing our skin to lose volume and become dehydrated. Dermal fillers are injected below the skins surface to improve tissue hydration, restore lost volume, and enhance facial features.
Dermal fillers contain Hyaluronic Acid which is a a naturally occurring slippery/gooey substance that our body produces and contributes to natural skin hydration and volume.
Time affects facial ageing by producing cellular and anatomical changes resulting in the consequential loss of soft tissue volume. Dermal fillers can help replace this lost volume leading to a more youthful appearance.
A thorough in-depth consultation is always performed prior to any injectable treatment. This involves a detailed facial assessment, as well as an in-depth discussion about treatment options to address your personalised needs and concerns.

Mono Threads
Mono thread is a small suture thread that is placed under the skin, usually in the face. Medical grade threads made from the protein Polydioxanone (PDO) are thinner than a strand of hair and more durable than cotton threads. They are placed with small needles in a cross hatch pattern. They stimulate collagen and elastin production, firming and smoothing fine lines, wrinkles and ‘crepey’ skin on the face, neck, and body parts such as arms and abdomen.
Over a period of eight to twelve months, the PDO mono thread dissolves entirely within the body leaving behind stronger, rejuvenated skin. It usually takes two to four months to see the full effects, but initial results can be noticeable after just four weeks. It’s best to get the treatment done at least once a year to maintain the full effect.
They can tighten and thicken the skin, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. When the sutures dissolve, they stimulate your skin, improving natural collagen production. As collagen is one of the vital parts of keeping your skin healthy, this increased production level can have positive long term effects. But that’s not all.
